Subject: C98 Critical Scythe Trigger 2/24 Update

January 30, 2008 When you have too much time on your hands in drafting class, you fulfill your fantasies by making trigger designs. Comment. Edit - For those who care, the first prototype will probably be on my Predator II. Update - February 10, 2008 First prototypes being made you can clearly see the outline and curves of the triggers.   Note, there is some imperfections in the prototypes, but that is why they are prototypes, the finished product will look much better. Update - February 24, 2008 First working model was made. Still needs set screws and annodizing. Pictures of it and it mounted on a 98 are below.    Stay tuned for the trigger with set screws and anno later. |

A good idea. Boredom often spawns neat ideas. I'm trying to make a trigger for my 98 custom because it needs to be a lot longer to fit in my rifle stock... I made a prototype out of hardwood and it worked pretty nicely. Ghetto, but it worked. I think that I would rather go for this one if I was doing a speed ball 98  Rythim innovations magnetic trigger system and only 50.00 dollars!!Ball bearing (zero side play),rear stop and switch position without taking it apart and aluminum trigger guard!!! I wish the A5 trigger would go on sale.  I thought I was getting one for christmas but they were sold out! -------------

I was about 1/1000th of an inch from having my own custom Mag frame. I made it all in AutoCad, and had it perfect. When I opened it in the CNC program, some stupid error message popped up and the program closed and my instructor refuses to fix the problem. Something tells me he did this on purpose. -------------
