Sorry itīs not finished but ready to show before getting finished !!! Itīs a Tippmann Modell 98 with custom body works for example slim Grip and cocking on top !!! The surface will be laminated with Glasfiber to get more details, stability and straight lines !!! At the moment iīm unemployed so it will take time to get the money for the rest !!!

That looks great. The shroud could use some work though. I'm sure the fiberglass will help it a lot, especially to smooth it out.

QFT. I like how you have fit the front handguard around the feed neck. One of the primary things I dislike about Tippmann based M16/M4 mil-sim markers is the extra space that is normally left in this area because of the Tippmann's basic body shape. It just ruins the effect for me. If I were you, I would consider doing a "cut out" on the handguard that would still allow the "drop down" feature of the feed neck to be used. You could even attach the cut out portion of the handguard to the feed neck so it folded out of the way with it. This would allow you to retain functionality while getting a realistic look. I think this marker has real potential as a very realistic looking mil-sim. Please keep us updated. -------------

I think so too!!! I donīt like the big space between Grip, Magazine and Frontguard!!! More details a cheap good looking black paint will fnish it! Iīm from Böblingen (US-Base Panzerkaserne) next to Stuttgart (US-Base Patch Barracks) so itīs possible to play that Marker in Germany (offizell its not aloud to play Markers that look real because they think itīs Training for war (german:Wehrsport) and the public thinks that becuse itīs not aloud to do public information about paintball so no one takes care but the players do!!!)and shoot with 290fps not the german max. of 210fps(if itīs stronger, it will be handled from the cops like a real weapon and you never see your Marker again and pay a bill i think i can renember 600-800(1000Bucks) or more(If the jugde didnīt likes you but jail just when you hurt someone)!!!I think that s.... with 210fps you can only play on small fields and Flatlinebarrels donīt like this speed!) Landstuhl is the same far as munich from me!!! (South West Germany next to France,Swiss and Austria) Schwabenland, Linsen mit Spätzle(famous Food)!!! I hope it wonīt take long to finish the M98-M4!!! Pics from the best Woodlandfield in the south-west of Germany you can see on my HP there are many other players with also good looking Tippmannīs!!! Here some examples!!!

Itīs the orginal Trigger but i have make him longer so i cut some Material from it to install a metallshoe to make him longer but first i have to get a small driller to make a hole and put a bolt thru!!! I hope you understand what a tryed to say!!! ------------- I like Tippmann !!! |

looks good! you might want to change the screw and nut on the feed neck though, looks a little rusted out. i'm familiar to a degree with the Stuttgart area, my dad was stationed there in the army back in the 80's; since then though the family housing he was living in has been demolished, nothing but pits in the ground now. |

I will use the rest of my Glasfiber and make it first in low detail because i have to save more money to visit the Euro Big Game im May in Mahlwinkel ( East Germany ) (a few years ago it was a russian airport there and itīs still there !) !!!Biggest Event in Europe 3 Days and 1000 Players !!! I try to show the painted Marker before April !!!

OK! Now i have finished for the moment now i will test it under Gametrouble and finish it after that Session !!! Itīs low detail but all functions are availible but there is no Saftybutton so i have to save it otherwise! Perhaps a friend can make a small video in action !!!

The Barreltip(SP All Americantip with Apex a friend made this because he has the right mashine) will be painted soon in simple but good looking black !!! I have just to install the Trigger at last but a friend will sand it for me first! Sorry but the final finish will be at the end of the year I think Sept. or Oct. Now the fps are OK! Thanks from this side to the Tippmann people at the Big Game Europe.They helped me very well (new Powertube for my A5 for example!)and the problem was the hose i had, a microhose now i have the germanhose 6mm (us/uk 6.3mm) and the gas flow is much better so i can reach the 300fps without any problems. At the Big Game a friend made a video of cocking the M4 i hope he will make it ready for watching soon (After getting the maximum power the cocking thing jumps a little bit but i will make the sprin stronger so then it will be fine!). I post it when he did it !!!

I donīt know the regular openings!!! Big Game is 2times a year (Mai ans Sept.) but i donīt know the normal gamedays! Munich to Mahlwinkel are zirka 500km and the Autobahn(Highway) is the fastest but you have go with others(Trucks, Grannies, etc.) to so i think it will take 5h to be there and on normal days there will not be so many people like the last BG (1600 Players who payed) You schould take a holiday for min. 3 days !!! BB is 200km away from Munich itīs smaller but itīs US-Field problem is the open just each second weekend on Saturday! So both would be a expensive trip!!! ------------- I like Tippmann !!! |

Here is the inside of the M4 Mod !!! The Grip is getting stronger by a Metallplate (4mm) because it wont be strong enough i think so.Between Hammer and Bolt i donīt know how itīs called (german :Gestänge) i made a long hole for the top cocking and i (german : hartlöten) put a short pin on it! Iīm not shoure you understand it but on the pic you will see what i mean!!!

That is quite impressive!! Well done to say the least. I am working on the charging handle mod using an Alpha Black, which is a bit easier, but it is encouraging to see we are going about it the same way, and that it WORKS!! Thanks A LOT!! You have no idea the peace of mind this just gave me...hahaha. Keep it up. Do you have any updated external pictures? Looked like you had it pretty well finished in the video, it would be great to have a good look at all that work! -------------

Here i have made some detail pics but think about it made of trash and no maschines are used just my Hands with tools(german:Feile,metalsaw,german:Blechschere,löten,etc.)&n bsp;ok i have used a drillmaschine to make the holes!!! It will be finished in high detail when i have the nervs to do it so iīm happy that the technik is working fine! I fixed the jumping cocking thing by making the hole longer!(To see at the video!)

  The pipe wonīt be longer than the stock !!!
After that will be done i continue making my Pump mod. !!!

I think it looks great, custom parts.
And yeah, Germany hates paintball. Back in highschool we had a girl from Germany for a week and she was explaining to me that you had to be 18 to play paintball and stuff.
I got my 98 Custom when I was 13 and would ride my bike to the local woods to play paintball after school. -------------

Youīve been a lucky child iīm shure german kids would like that too but our laws ... !!!
Example : For your first kill may you donīt come to jail if your younger than 21years and did nothing bad before ! They think itīs just a stupid young boy and he will learn !!! If the puplic would know more about paintball it wonīt be a big problem but we also have lawīs which stop any commercialīs in the public (Theý argument itīs like train to kill anyone) so you see what happens when you hold your people stupid all laws can happen !!!
