I am wondering if they make an adapter to go from a CO2 ASA to a typical AN-4 line? I am in the Air Force, i make high pressure lines for various air craft applications and i am thinking of making my own remote line provided i could use an adapter that would screw onto the tank using the typical ASA threads, and then have a male AN-4 end coming off of that. i don't want to use micro line.

can it be done? let me know, thanks guys.

ASA just has a female 1/8 NPT port, its a standard pipe thread.

So you would need a 1/8 NPT to whatever form you want. Check mcmaster.com, or other industrial or pneumatic supply sites.

are you talking about that little plug on the side of the standard asa? can i remove that and hook that up? if so that would solve my issues. or am i going to ruin  my tank by removing that?

thanks for the reply.

99% of paintball air line threadings are 1/8NPT, except old spyders.

I have no clue what AN-4 is. If you are unable to find anything to use, you may need something made for you. If you know the threads per inch and pitch of An-4, then contact Haveblue at Airsoldierproducts.com .

okay, AN is army/navy thread typel. it is used in all kinds of applications, i am a hydrualic specialist, so we use them for air craft brakes, among other things. i have used them for a DIY nitrous system, etc... if it is 1/8 npt then i am cool, i can work with that. the 1/8 npt, is that the little valve thing on the side of a tank? i assume so.

is it safe to have a fitting onto that and skip the asa alltogeather?

i wish to do so, with a turn style on/off valve, i figure the PSI shouldn't exceed 1200 on a high pressur set up, does that sound right?

No. On a regular remote there is a little metal piece that screws into your asa (like a CO2 tank) that has the 1/8'' NPT fitting. You need to buy that and put in whatever 1/8'' fitting you want or drill/tap for your fitting of choice.

I suppose it is possible to remove your asa, put a female 1/8'' NPT fitting, then get a 1/8'' male to AN-whatever adapter if there is such a thing.

You can probably have a machinist on base turn you the adapter I mentioned in the first paragraph.
