:X I like The Bedlam in Goliath. It's a step up from Amputechture. Granted, it's not Pre-Frances Mars Volta, but they sound is better than that from Amputechture. Keep the thread going. I'm feelin most of the albums posted.  -------------

This album had one of the highest densities of ear-splittingly good music ever applied to vinyl. (It and it's 8 brothers and sisters, up until 1979 or so... Heaven and Hell, although Ozzy-less, was still an awesome album)
... oh yeah ...

In addition to Kid A and OK Computer Some of the most depressing songs you can imagine.  Anyone who's listened to this knows it's bomb. The greatest rap style ever.  I have sat back and just cried listening and thinking of life to this.  I always listen to this all the way through. Every song is awesome as hell. Also, I agree that Deloused and Frances are the best TMV albums. It makes me really sad to think they probably won't ever be able to achieve a sound that even comes close to these two albums. But don't get me wrong, TBIG is awesome. |
