well i have narrowed it down to these guns based upon there size and speed and features. is the epic any better than any other marker? is the droid really that consistent and awesome? is the ego really that great? is the mini decent? what mag is really awesome for under 500-700? what differentiates and makes these markers different or better in certain ways than the other?

You really don't know much about the Epic, do you? Comparing a mechanical Epic to a Droid is ridiculous. Same with a Mag to an Ego, unless your referencing an E-Mag. The markers you are asking about are in completely different classes...

Epics are mechs, so they will never be as fast as any of the other markers you mentioned, excluding the Mag. Electro Epics were never offered.

Wow, I really think you are worse than me at picking a gun.  Atleast I narrowed it down to a few, similar guns.

How much did you want to spend?  Mini to Droid, obviously Droid unless you do not want to spend that much.  Ego to Droid, you will have to shoot them.  Mag and Epic.... Your choice on that, I personally wouldnt get either of them if you were looking at the Droid and Ego.

It comes down to Ego or Droid. Which is basically "Poppet or Spool". Spools have less kick and are quieter. Poppets are more efficient and simpler to maintain. This are more differences but those are usually the main ones. I suggest you just shoot them both and see which you like best.

there are too many markers in the world that interest me.... it may be hard for me to fire both guns, the ego is expensive and the droid is expensive and rare

Do you have a local proshop or field? I'm sure they have some on the rack they'd be willing to let you test fire.

they won't, and if they did id probably have decided by now. ive seen a couple vids of the droid shooting and its very impressive, but i held one and found the grip to be very uncomfortable, where as the ego is comfortable but not as impresive...

Well if it doesn't feel right, right off the bat eliminate it. And though Egos might not seem as "impressive", you really only need 15bps so comfort is really the deciding factor in speedball markers, along with operation ofcourse.
