I guess my thread was removed, not locked but like erased. Anyway it was a good concert so if any of you get an opportunity to go take it. I wish I had a chance to go again but alas I think it'll have to wait a while.

I noticed that.  As stated before, I'd love to go to one, but I have a few others that'd take priority over AVA including +44.  I just like their overall sound better.

? Are you saying they're bad? It's your opinion but I found it to be amazing.

+44 is more blink than AVA and while I don't mind it it's not really comparable, that was the whole point of AVA.

Not at all saying they're bad, I just like the sound of +44 better.  Granted, each band has their own time based on what I feel like listening to, and trust me, I listen to AVA quite a bit.  I have noticed though that I seem to get tired of some of +44's songs much easier than I do AVA, so I guess it really depends on what I'm feeling like listening too.  There are some AVA songs I don't really enjoy, but I don't find that for +44.  So yeah, I guess they shouldn't really be compared in my tastes and are quite separate for me.

And yeah, I know AVA wasn't really meant to retain the Blink sound while +44 pretty closely did.  I would love nothing more than to see a Blink reunion, which I know isn't going to happen, but whatever.  One can have dreams, you know.

Why would you say they're bad MBD?

Not for me. I really don't like soft rock like this especially since if I didn't know better I would have no way of telling it from blink182.

But hey, Whatever tickle's yer pickle

I didn't realize they were so Blink 182ish. I always thought they were closer to metal.

They're neither, blink 182 was not as serious or as spiritual, not saying blink was bad but they arn't the same.

I guess I can't expect to catch the serious or spiritual side after checking out a few of the top vids on youtube.

Yeah, the opening acts were mediocre but it was worth it to see AVA and Tom at their best.

isnt AVA and +44 just blink 182 split up? if any thing they both arn't really my taste in music, ill listen to it if it was the only thing on though.

my friend in california got to hang out with AVA after a concert. if it was up to me i would rather listen to +44 cause i like travis barker's drumming, i wish i could have seen him play with the aquabats.

How awesome was that concert?

I saw this concert when they were in Atlanta awhile ago. It was the second concert of their tour. Other than the fact that Tom Delong was pretty wasted when they first came on, it was a great show. His stories are priceless also haha.

BTW, Atom Willard(their drummer) is a freaking stud on that kit.
