I am interested and building a gaming computer but I don't know what all I would need to make this kit work. I know it is a barebones kit but I don't know what all that means it includes. I am assuming it is just like a case power supply and at most a mother board.

Looks like it's a case, mobo, and PSU. 300 W is a pretty small PSU though. If you want to do any gaming, you're going to need probably 500 W minimum. Anyway, good luck. Building your own PC and doing all the research is the best way to learn about computers, IMO.

I know how to build them, I have done it before just wasn't quite sure what all the kit included. I will probably go back and look at a different barebones kit then.

I'd steer clear of barebones kits, they're often way overpriced and poorly planned (such as the kit your looking at).

If you know how to build PCs, then just pick out the parts yourself.

Benji, what would you think of this one? I know it still has the 300w power supply but all the ones that have any kind of a good rating have 300w so I will probably have to replace it.

I agree with Darur. I was never impressed with barebones kits. At best, you sometimes can find a decent mobo/cpu bundle package available at newegg or tiger.

For what you'd pay for a good power supply after the barebones kit, you'd be better buying the mobo, chip, and case individually.

Alright sounds good, I will go see what Tiger Direct has in a little bit.

As Shub and Darur said, I'd just pick out a case and motherboard that you like. That way you have more control over your cooling options, etc. Since you have experience building PC's, you shouldn't have any trouble figuring out if everything's compatible, which is the hardest and most time-consuming part. Let us know what you come up with.

I like building a computer. Putting everything together is much better than going to the store and buying a box you plug in and play. Quality and speed is much greater when you pick out the best video card over the stock motherboard video drive.

Ya, I will get around to picking everything out in my down time tomorrow. I just didn't get around to it tonight because I got side tracked.
