My friend seems to think these are the best barrels money can buy and he just <poopy> all over my tippmann because he has this and an ION... WOOTIEDOO!... lol... He said that the 98s series are the worst pieces of crao and are really terrible unless upgraded with $500 bucks... I like, there not THAT bad... Jesus the kid acts like I got a brass Eagle...lol Anyway... He said he put over $1200 into his ION... I mean, I know IONs are better then most tippys cause of them being auto but come on, Are they really that great? I mean a lot of ppl hate them... heh His specs are... Some new board $140, some Elec Hopper $120, Bolt $55, Tactical Kit $85, Deadly wind Barrel $90, 2QEV $40, Cp Trigger $32 ION marker $240, Nitro Tank $100, 2 liter Reg $95, Longbow Stock $60, V-force Grills $90, all together is $1150... Obv its impressive but do you REALLY need all that money into a marker? honestly... especially an Ion? I rahter just buy a Bob Long with that cash if I was gonna spend that much. ------------- black to blue fade Proto M6, Laser eyes, Dye UL 2 piece barrel, Hitman Grips. tippmanns are pretty low-end markers until you put some money into them. If ion's are so great, why did ur friend have to put 1200 bucks into his. This kid is a fool. $1200 dollars, are you kidding me, i could have an arsenal of mid to high end electro's for that.
How much you put into a marker comes down to personal preference. However 1200 into an ion is possibly the dumbest thing i've ever heard of. Did he spend 500 on a paintball bayonet by chance? |

i kno, I lol'd at him, I mean yah his gun is better then mine but jesus... I pretty much know why ppl hate Ion owners... I'd rather have my stock 98c than His Ion any day. My gun has never had a single problem (other than the cost to play with it) and was a relatively cheap buy. -------------

Eh, don't buy it from her. Work it off. Oh, and tell your friend that anyone with a moderately modified Tippmann will do just as well if not better than him and his Smart Parts plastic paperweight. Better yet - tell him no matter how much he spends on his Ion, you still can't polish a turd. -------------
