Ok well  I've had the same power tube on my gun since I bought it when I was twelve and well...  last year when I took it apart to clean it the threading on the powertube fell out.  I can no longer screw the powertube to the inside of my gun.  So I took some epoxy and stuck it back in and it works great but now I have the minor set backs.  I have CO2  coming out of the holes on the side of my gun.

Should I   A.  Get new power tube or   B. Fill in the holes with something

Hah.  I was afraid of that.

I hate spending money.  Even just $40.

Don't you have a 98? What threading are you talking about. The ones on the right receiver half?

What I was thinking. I stripped my threads the first time I stripped down my 98. Granted that most of the threads were still intact, I applied loctite to my valve bolts.

Either try what I did, or just purchase a new valve.

Edit: Oh yea, the loctite was sufficient to keep the power tube assembly firm within the receiver halves. It was as if I hadn't messed up the threads at all
