I know they have one at opsgear, but I don't really like the look of them.

Specialops has a vest builder. Tippmann Vests are just Special Ops vests that are re-branded.

Personally, I use a PCS vest. Its a matter of opinion, IMO.

Hell, most people use packs..

Rap4 has nice vests.  That is where mine is from and I acrually like it more than my Spec Ops vest I had.  It stays in place better and is more comfortable.  Plus they have alot of different setups.

pcs makes some good vests, and there cheaper too, most of the time i use pod packs, but when a scenario game comes along ill use the vest.

i dont think i would waste money on a vest, It makes paintball more exhilarating when it hurts more

This was funny, but only because of the poster's misunderstanding of the subject.  (Hint: The discussion relates to tactical vests, which are used for carrying paint/equipment; not protective vests.)

the spec ops builder is WAY too expensive.  I suggest getting a pre configured vest.

I think an important question is do you want the vest for looks or because you think it will help your game...?

Also what are you planning on putting in it...

If we're losers how come you're the one with the strike that spelled paintball wrong?

I want the vest to carry gear, paint ,etc... I'm use to one from when I was a soldier. I'd like one that carries at least 4 pods, c02 tank,a radio, and a camel pack wouldn't hurt. And no urban camo.

What is the price range that your looking at?

What size pods are you going to carry and how many?

How big an air source do you have?

Getting a vest is kinda like buying a car. You first have to know what do you wanna hawl arround and how much paint does your air source can carry. It's pretty useless to buy a vest that holds 20 pods when your running a 9oz CO2 tank. Your should never carry any more paint than your airsource can handle.

I have an A5 with e-grip, 20 oz pure energy c02 tank, I'd like to carry 140 round pods. I don't really have a limit on price but i don't want to pay more than I have to. Like I posted at the begining I was looking at the broadsword but at $159 Cdn plus about $21 in tax plus shipping it'll total about $200. If I can get something similar foer less I'll do it, I don't want to throw money away.

I've been playing with this vest for about 3 months, one of the best investments I've made for paintballing

Seen it in action and it works well I personally use

but with an accessories pouch and holster in front instead of the 6 pod pouches.

I go on the cheap and carry (4) 100 rnd pods on a belt around my waist.  So, I basically start every game with at least 600 rounds.  I have yet in the last three years to go through all 600 rounds in one game.

I have a UTG that holds 6 100 round pods, got it on Amazon for $30 semi costumizable, fits great and is MOLLE/ALICE compatible.  My wife has a RAP4 that's set up for 6 140 pods. She likes it but it's not fully MOLLE/ALICE compatible, a little loose fitting on her.
