So I guess Sen. Obama and Al Gore "talked" about "their future" hmmm.. I wonder if Barack gets the Nomination and chooses Al Gore... WOW what a "Green Team".
So I'm sitting here, and in the Background is the news and I heard this, my google skills are worthless, this is just something I heard on Fox news.

Exactly.
Anything posted on this forum that at all has even the slightest twinge of Republican Bias is constantly condemned as being false, stupid, or poor journalism.
Nobody on here (that I can recall in my 5 years of being a member) has questioned the authenticity of a story published on CNN. Somebody posts a link to a Fox News story, it is quickly dismissed as being false or stupid.
I present the evidence:

Well, that might be because biased journalism is inherently poor and stupid, and more often than not the veracity of biased journalism is questionable.
But you are right, no one has ever said anything about CNN on here. Ever.
And you can feel free to post a link to an aggressively biased CNN article. I haven't noticed much from them, but that may be because I don't look hard or because I am a liberal hippy commu-atheis.

I'm sure I've ragged on CNN on here. I was flipping through channels a while ago and landed on CNN a couple times and it was pretty damn bad. One of the quotes I remember:
"Some people say the war is about oil, and I say SHOULDN'T IT BE!?" and so on.
My gf's stepdad watches CNN all the time too, so I catch it sometimes.
Fox is still far worse though.

I've pretty much never seen an article from CNN that screamed the "obvious liberal bias" that the conservative forumers are always making claims about. Show me the existence of one, and I will believe you. Until then, I cannot accept the fact that CNN is obviously biased. It seems conservatives claim something has a liberal bias if it does not have a conservative bias (aka Fox).

mmmhmmm. Here's the current story on it.
http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gmnaFOEfLjNPmCWEdB7bv9NuDDAwD8VPUN7G0 - Associated Press
At a town-hall meeting, Obama was asked if he would tap the former vice president for his Cabinet to handle global warming.
"I would," Obama said. "Not only will I, but I will make a commitment that Al Gore will be at the table and play a central part in us figuring out how we solve this problem. He's somebody I talk to on a regular basis. I'm already consulting with him in terms of these issues, but climate change is real. It is something we have to deal with now, not 10 years from now, not 20 years from now." |
Obama said he would use Gore to help forge a cap-and-trade system for carbon emissions designed to lower pollution.
The Illinois senator cautioned that such a system could mean an increase in electricity bills from power companies that rely on coal-burning, and that some of the money generated from a cap-and-trade system may be used in the beginning to help lower income or fixed income customers with those bills.
He also called on individuals to do their part to lower energy consumption. |

The only overtly biased CNN segment I've seen was it's panel on atheists, and its slant was extremely socially conservative.
