So, I was just about to purchase my new Canon 40D DSLR body from ebay, for a few hundred bucks cheaper than what my normal distributor (BHphotovideo.com) was selling it for. The ebay vendor has a powerseller rating of 99.1% since 2000... So I felt they must be fairly reliable. Yet I still couldn't help but wonder how they are selling so much cheaper than the biggest video/photography retailer on the web. I decided to Google, and I found a Digg link. It would seem I was about to fall to a massive scam: http://digg.com/tech_news/PriceRitePhoto,_They_re_Back - http://digg.com/tech_news/PriceRitePhoto,_They_re_Back Close call. Bah for waiting a couple more weeks to buy the camera though :P ------------- |
