Im getting back into playing paintball. Been out of it for about 5 years now. I would like to just get my setup and be done with it since I know I like paintball. I have always been a fan of tippmanns. I found this package deal for an ACT 98 E-grip. http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=RYRRuA9bdMVSrUijWxuREAWSTamUcY7qRlE=?ProductID=2VLAqArb9scAAAELXKkycbqV - http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/...cAAAELXKkycbqV . How do I know what board it comes with for the E-grip? If it's not a W.A.S. board they have another separate package w/o the e-grip and I know where I can get an e-grip with the W.A.S. board. Just be nice to get it all at one place. Will this setup with a W.A.S. e-grip run off of the Co2 bottle it comes with? I also want a double trigger for it do I just find a tippmann 98 trigger, or do I have to find a e-grip compatible one? I was also thinking of adding the cyclone feed system or would I be better off with the electronic hopper? One last question would you get a freak system or a flatline? Those are the two barrels Im considering. I know this is a subjective question, but in my area the internet is about the only option for getting paintball research other than wal-mart. Yeah, I dont think so on the wal-mart. So it isnt like I can go out and test them out which would be the optimal choice.

If I have to purchase the e-grip separate from the marker. Will these work together?

It will come with the WAS board.

It will work with the CO2 tank it comes with, although with all guns HPA will be the better choice, not for operation reasons but because it is more consistent and chances are you will get poor efficiency and consistency with CO2 at high rates of fire..

All double triggers will work with the e-grip, but not all double triggers will work on a mechanical 98.

I wouldn't go with a Freak or a Flatline.  However, with those two choices, it really depends if you want range or accuracy, and thats a decision you need to make for yourself.

What barrel would you recommend?

I recommend the J&J or lapco barrels. My prefference is the J&J.  Its less expensive and just as accurate plus its a lil quieter which i like.

Either what Judge recommended or something else based on what you're looking for.  I personally don't really like the Flatline, because it doesn't work for my playstyle.  But if you need the extra range, then by all means, go for it.  I would pick it over the BT Apex (a similar concept), but the accuracy to me is just frustrating.

If you don't need the range and want accuracy, but want more options than a single barrel, I would go with most any barrel kit that uses solid backs instead of an insert system, especially the Freak.  Some people swear by them, but I don't like how flimsy the inserts are and I have heard bad things about some of the tolerances on them.  I personally like Custom Products kits.

Nope.  You just need a tank.  Get a high output tank and screw it into the ASA and you are set.
