Hello guys Probably a pointless question, I'm planning to get a http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21AtZdZ1LCL._AA236_.jpg - m16 front sight with my X7, but a friend of mine is worried that it will not be able to fit on my barrel of choice, specifically the http://www.paintball-online.com/paintball/images_big/BRSPT16_big.jpg - Smart Parts Tactical 16" . Is there anyone here who knows if the sight will fit on that specific barrel, and if not which barrel would you suggest? To be precise I'm looking for a decent, 16" milsim barrel. Thank you in advance :) -------------

I am not sure if you have seen the X7 'M16' front sight in person yet or not, but if you are going for anything realistic, I would recomend saving your money for some of the other options out there. It is plastic, cheaply made, and frankly, looks nothing like the actual AR-style front sight. Opsgear and Rap-4 come closer if you are looking for something 'off the shelf', but neither actually have a sight post in the center. They are just milled from a single block of aluminum..Again, not sure how OCD or detail -oriented you are, but there have been plenty of successful (and nearly as cheap) mods of real front sights to fit your barrel. To give you an idea: X-7 'M-16' front sight  Opsgear front sight  Rap4 front sight  Mine for an example of using the real deal    That being said, some more hopefully helpful info (first find out what Outside Diameter your barrel of choice has) Opsgear fits 1"OD barrels like the ones they sell Rap4 fits the more common 7/8" barrel or they have a 1" model Mine used a front sight for a bull-barrel AR (.96"OD) which I bored out to fit my 1" barrel.
