Hi, I bought a X7 recently and finally had the chance to use it this weekend. I used a remote system with CO2 and noticed something that I didn't experience with my original M98. If I don't cock the X7 before hooking the remote up, the X7 noticeably (it is very audible) leaks CO2. If cocked the leak stops. This leads me to believe that the back bolt is pushing against the power tube. Is this normal operational behavior?

I apologize if this is a repost. I searched, but didn't find any results.

Normal. Its been that way on pretty much every Tippmann, ever.

This is totally normal operation for any blowback oriented gun. The bolt is holding the valve open from the spring pressure.
