...for being caught in CT with friends in the car on a new license? All I can find on google is that your not supposed to have friends until 6 months after getting it, but I can't find what happens if you get caught before then.

Yeha the punishment is probably a ticket.

I doubt anything will happen.

You shouldn't be getting pulled over until after 6 months after you got your license.

What's with the recent influx of threads involving forumers getting caught for stupid reasons?

I wouldn't worry all that much about it, I drove all around Connecticut with people before I had reached 6 months, just don't get pulled over for anything stupid like speeding or look sketchy with a whole dunch of people in the car.

I think its just a fine followed be suspension for several repeated offenses. Here in Ct they are getting very strict with driving laws due to all these idiot kids crashing their race cars mommy and daddy got em.

don't look sketchy, and don't drive like 5 people in your car...maybe one or two extra.  They won't know unless you get pulled over, so either don't get pulled over or don't break the law.

i resent that, benji.

I never got caught but I hear it's not a huge violation to them, most cops around my town let it go. It's not like they will pull you over under suspicion of driving friends before the 6 months.

actually from what I was told. They remove your driving privilages untill you turn 18 depending on how happy the judge is.

I know in mass they suspend your licence and you have to go through all kinds of hoops to regain it. I have heard from Enfield Cops that they are even stricter than Mass.

I think under the new junior operator laws it's a 6 month license suspension like in MA now. It was just on CT news, which I'm watching for some reason.

Just had the news on, Starting August first Violating youth curfew, cell phone laws, passenger restrictions, etc. can lead to a one year license suspension. I'd drive smart if I were you.

I think they just suspend your license for like a year or something?
