On a similar note, I got blood drawn today, been sick with a 102*-104.5* fever since Saturday. Got 6 vials and a beaker like thing out of the left arm, and another beaker like thing out of the right. I didn't get any cookies or juice, saying as they didn't have any there... You would think a lab that does such stuff would, but apparently not. Also, I got to partake in the highly rewarding experience of urinating into a cup. This leads me to a question for the forum - When you have to have a urine test, do you fill the cup completely? Halfway, etc.? I'm a fill it completely up kind of guy. EDIT: Don't mean to jack the thread, just wondering... -------------

I am 12days short of being able to give blood. I fill the cup up to a point that they say is fine. I never ever go past halfway. |

I fill the cup to the minimum line.
I donted blood once, and did it with my legs crossed....I almost passed out until they were like OMG UNCROSS YOUR LEGSSS!!! And then I was fine. Then I drank like 10 Oj's and jacked some zebra cakes or something Fun fun ------------- Sig is WAY too big. |

I am going to be able to donate blood at my school next year, hooray for
being able to miss half my classes. As for peeing in a cup, I fill it up until there is a safe amount of room for it to slosh, then I finish off in the toilet. ------------- <Sig violation, Section 1> |

I donated double the other day. Hurray for me. I fill the cup untill it's about to spill just to mess with the nurses, unless I have a nurse that does'nt have a sense of humor, then its the minimum line. On a side note, anybody can't pee with others watching? |

for the love of god... there's no reason to fill the pee cup all the way... 9 times out of 10, all you really need is like... 20 ml max. oh... and jesus christ, if you put the cap on, screw it on tight! i can't even count the number of bags i have to reach into and pull out an empty cup that's swimming in a sea of pee... and then guess what... you get to get called back and do it all over again! |
