Is your tank full?

If your tank is full, the drive spring is the next suspect.

thats because most tippmann people know how to fix practically every gun...

and try checking the internals or something like that....might have to replace a spring or something

When was the last time you broke it down and oiled it? Have you checked to see if all your o-rings are intact.

what would it look like if the spring is bad. it was a little bent but i straightined it out.

ok the spring is really bad. i just took it out and its bent in two places so would a spring of about the same size from a hardware store work. oh and could any one post a pic of the right order of the spring, the star disc thing and white platic thing go in.

go to a proshop and get a new spring.  that way it is the right tension and size.

same thing happened to my friend one day when we were playing. all of a sudden his gun wouldnt recock and the balls were only shooting abut 20 feet. his gun was a pirahna gti but im thinking its the same problem. he took it to the local shop and all the guy did was take out the cocking bolt and oiled it up and it worked fine. now im not sure how a spyder is put together so you might not be able to take the bolt out without taking the gun apart but im thinking its the same problem, if you havent already tried it. just oil it up all around the bolt and try again.

If it shoots 20 feet and doesn't recock, it's the spring.

If it shoots perfect and doesn't recock, it's an oring issue,
oil it or replace oring on hammer.

If it shoots ok the first shot, not so good the second,
and poor the third, it's the air/co2 being blocked by a hose kink
or asa to tank problem

I think that covers the only three possibilities for that marker.

It's more interesting if I randomly post. If my answer is relevant
to the thread it's shear coincidence.
