Hi iam looking at converting to air as i have started playing at a new site that has air and co2 i own a tippy 98 and a5 i allso have a t68 i would like some advice on air and co2 and what you guys think is best for performance and do i need to do any further mods to my tippys? |

you dont need to do any mods. Just ,ake sure the tank you buy is high preddure. I am partial to Pure Energy and Crossfire tanks. Be sure to check if the local infrastructure can fill 4500psi especially if you're on a budget. If you can only get 3000psi fills, it doesn't make much sense to spend the extra money. -------------

thanks guys for your advice, guys just one more thing if you guys know, does air give you better accuracy than co2 say using a flatline? |

I recently did the same thing that you are wanting to do. I can't really say for sure that air will be "more accurate" but you will gain some advantages by air being MUCH more consistant than CO2. I personally didn't see a gain in accuracy, but as I was really throwing paint my my velocity didn't drop off and that really helped me. I was able to buy a used SCUBA tank from my local paintball shop and then a tank to screw on my gun and I was set. (I had to buy the SCUBA tank because I normally play on fields were they don't have air fills so I fill from it between each game. You wouldn't need this tank if you play at a field where they can fill the air.) ------------- 98C, 14" AA barrel, X chamber, RVA, R/T, Motorized Hopper, 48/3000 Crossfire HPA |

Before investing iin an HPA tank, try renting one the next time you go and play. Even cheap tanks arent cheap. Make sur you want to make the leap before you invest. ------------- "When I grow up I want to marry a rich man and live in a condor next to the beach" -- My 7yr old daughter. |

also if you want to save weight go for a carbon wrapped tank. I know a few companies make one in a 3000 psi but most are the 4500. for the record you can fill a 4500 to 3000. ------------- Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesn't hit your... http://www.deltasquad.info/">
