So does the a-5 take nitro too? What kind of tank would i need to get for nitro or compressed air. What is the best(air, co2, or nitro)? I have a tippmann A-5 with an e-grip and i plan on getting a low pressure kit very soon.

The A5 will work off of compressed air; all you need is a compressed air tank and a place to get it filled. The terms compressed air and nitrogen (or nitro) mean essentially the same thing anymore in paintball. You used to be able to get compressed nitrogen gas but practically nobody uses/fills that anymore.
For a detailed comparison of CO2 and compressed air read section 4 of http://www.tippmann.com/forum/wwf77a/forum_posts.asp?TID=163015&PN=1 - this post. The short version of the comparison is follows: Compressed air is more consistent which enhances accuracy while CO2 tends to give more shots per comparable tank size in warm weather. CO2, being temperature sensitive, becomes significantly less useful the colder it gets.
If you are planning on getting a low pressure kit, you will eventually need to get a compressed air tank. Make sure you know what kind of fills (3000 psi, 4500 psi) are available locally before you make your purchase.

hpa and n2 was covered well by mack. but if you choose c02 you should invest in a expansion chamber because in your co2 tank is a liquid and needs time to expand into a gas. when shooting fast with co2 your shots will vary as the liquid changes to air/gas

An expansions helps with efficiency, but is not needed... though if you play in a cold climate it helps immensely.
And for future reference, 99% of fields used compressed air and not nitrogen... far cheaper to use the ambient atmosphere.
