I have been eyeballing the new 98 platinum.  I have a cyclone & r/t trigger I want to swap over to it.

I've been looking at the ACT set-up, and if it actually works, I think it would be great with the cyclone.

The one drawback to the cyclone, in my opinion, is that I chop balls with it when my tank/pressure gets low.  If any paint gets into the cyclone gears, you're in for a bunch of spin-off shots.  The only real solution is to disassemble the cyclone & clean it out.

So anyways, if the ACT system works, why have they not added it to the A-5 or X-7 yet?

Because it is not needed with the cyclone.

I disagree.  If you read my entire post, that is exactly why I was looking at it.  To work with my cyclone.

Maybe the X-7 & A-5's don't chop as many balls, but my 98 cyclone does.  Any time the air gets low.  Also, if there is a ball loaded in the breach, there is room for 1 other balls between the cyclone & the breach.  I have noticed that if I only feed 1 ball into the breach, and leave the extra space empty, I am much more likely to break a ball.

I have the Vortex kit, and their claim of "it will work at below 200 psi" is crap.  it's always about 400-450psi that I experience a ball chop.

Even with a stock Cyclone Feed I have never chopped a paintball because of low pressure.  My Cyclone Feeder just stops working.  Now, when I notice my tank getting below 1000psi, I just refill it.  Nothing worse than being in the middle of a game only to run out of gas.

The balls are breaking in the cyclone, not in the breach, so I fail to see how a system that is designed to prevent breaking balls in the breach is going to help with a ball breaking in the feeder.
