My 98c is leaking gas out of the slide? (the opening where you cock it) also ever inch of the gun gets very cold in a matter of about ten shots. i replaced the o ring on the rear bolt and that didnt fix it and i dont know enough to take the valve out or anything to see further. it was shooting fine all spring then all the sudden it was freezing my thumb. is this a common problem?

thanks

It it only does this when you first put the tank on and it's ok once you fire it, then make sure it is cocked before installing the tank in the future.

If it still leaks after firing, then this* might fix it:
  • Remove barrel
  • Place about a half dozen drops of oil in the ASA
  • Install tank
  • Hold rag over front of marker to catch oil spray
  • Fire repeatedly (30-40) times
If that takes care of the problem, you need to maintain your marker better; if it doesn't, repost and be very specific regarding any modifications/upgrades and in explaining the problem as well.

*This is not a good idea if you have an e-bolt.

I keep leaking gas out of my rear, but wife blames it on beer and burritos. And there is an opening near where I ... nevermind.

You should probably not follow the instructions I offered above.  If you decide to ignore that warning and try to apply those instructions to your problem please do not share the results with those of us on the forum.

The firing repeatedly about 30-40 times is probably the only one I would like to be able to do.
