I'm trying to decide wether to buy an a-5 or a pro carbine, i already have the palmers direct stabilizer and a 12" j&j ceramic barrel, i was thinking if i got the carbine i would get the low pressure kit and a titanium rear bolt, if i got the a5 i would probably get the low pressure kit made by tippmann. I only play woods ball and i'm really lookng for accuracy at a long distance.

There's no such thing as "accuacy at a long distance." Sounds like you need a quick run-down of the physics of paintball. A paintball leaving barrel A, whatever it may be, at 280 FPS will go the SAME distance as a paintball leaving barrel B, whatever it may be, at 280 FPS. Of course, there are variables, like a gun with a 16" barrel chronoed at 280 will have 2" more range than the same gun chronoed at 280 with a 14", and also windspeed, etc. Point being, at the same velocity, all markers will have similar range.

Of course, there are the Flatlines and Apexes. These WILL give you more range, but there will NOT be more accuracy. At longer than normal ranges, paintballs will array or spread more, since at longer ranges, anny discrepencies with accuracy and aiming will be amplified. Also, at ranges, velocity is indeed lost, so at any range other than normal, the chances of a successful ball break are reduced.

In short, you can't have your accuracy and range in the same pacakge.

either way you dont really need the lpk.  it wont help you much with anything.  save the money and just get a good barrel and a nice tank.

They have the same accuracy, and its only easier to mod an A5.
