I will not be removing the US army plate out of respect. The weathering went well! I love that look... I've done work to the Hopper (Vortex, lightning rod, soft paddels, and X7 piston housing) And I've installed a wicked Front bolt and Power tube... Once I get those 3 final upgrades, I'll post one last update and consider this project done! Thanks Guys! |

I love your ALPHA. I want to add a few mods to mine as well, I really like your red dot sight, and the rail...what are they and where can I get them, Also the rails added to your shroud, what are they and where can I get them? Do they require drilling?

I think the paint clashes with the weathering. Maybe if you weathered the areas that you painted too...

Already thought of that Snake, But the shroud and stock are made of composite=no weathering! It would look quite silly with just the reciever body weathered. My final idea was to only weather accessories... |

My flaslight has a weaver/picatinny rail mount. You can buy a dove-tail to weaver adapter and then mount the flashlight. And lose the stock barrel. The stubby stock barrel gives it an almost goofy appearance. Other than that, I like what you've done so far. I'm a huge fan of the ALPHA. I used mine the other day in a cold rainy game, and it preformed without skipping a beat. ------------- ? |

That is an awesome idea, but i live in New Jersey and our state is gay with its gun laws... You cannot buy a 30 round magazine here... Had a thought: Maybe I could modify and expansion chamber mag for a 98C to fit my gun, and make it functional... hmmmmmm..... must look into this! Thanks for the Idea Snake! |

Thanks man! If you visit http://www.tacticalcamo.com - www.tacticalcamo.com and read up on all the helpful info they have to offer, you can get a good idea on how to paint using his stencils. The stencils cost me $20 and the paint I used also cost me $20. I have deff spent alot on uprades... prob about $300-$400 total inc. cost of marker.

Thanks Mitchell! I've added a wicked bolt, hairpinned the trigger, fully upgraded the cyclone with vortex, lightning rod sqishy padels and x7 piston housing, changed out the trigger spring for a pen spring, and added the ABT Egrip. Just got a new barrel in and I'm currently painting it! Also added a red dot laser. This thing fires like a dream! I will be updating pix next week heading out to PA to have some fun at skirmish this weekend. I hope to be turning some heads with all the hard work I've done! Thanks again! -------------

Not the long tube under the barrel, the Hopper that sits beside the rail on OP Also, doesn't the Alpha Black have normal Hopper on tip of the barrel? How did you mod it so it is fed from the side? I'm a noob :( I want to add red dot sight and a hopper like the OP's to my Alpha Black, what is needed? I never understood how people put red dot sights without their hopper blocking the view |

sorry i lookd at the wrong photo, insofar used the x7 hopper with a 98 cyclone, and for the 98 cyclone all you have to do is file down a part of it to fit the alpha black/bravo one. i cant remember the name of the part to file down but if you get one you will know right away. -------------

I wouldnt of gone with the egrip trigger i got one and it likes to die out in the cold weather....i dont know if u play all year round but i think the standard trigger is actually better ------------- Bemont |

I'm in South Africa and also just baught an Alpha Black (in SA we call a Bravo One though).
I was wondering if you can tell me what paint or application did you use to do the camo on your
rifle....I also want to camo mine and add the rails etc....
If you can give me info on the rails and "paint" I would really appreciate.
