I've got 2 4.5hp engines to do whatever I want with.  Both need a little work but nothing I can't fix.

I just saw the pic of the bike with the engine on it, that would be pretty cool but these engines are a little big.

Ideas?

Both engines on one bike.

Front and rear drive wheels.

The only problem I see with the bike is that it will require me to do some major modifications as well as somehow putting a clutch on it.  There is no way I will use my good bike now, and the only other decent bike I have is 16".

I'm going to draw up an idea in Inventor for the hovercraft.  I've built successful ones before (help a little over 100 pounds easily) with leaf blowers.  These are lawn mower engines BTW.

Three words: Not enough power.

Unless you want me to build an RC plane, though I still doubt it would work.

Yeah, I don't see how you even need to consider what to do with an engine like that.

Either a 2 engine go cart. I was going to make one, but I didn't have all the stuff needed to get it started and I was trying to make it as low cost as possible. I say, if you are really good at this kind of stuff, make a RC car.

I gotta go with magnum on this one... Bar Stool Racer. You can make two for pretty cheap, then race them.

The only potential problem is that these are vertical shaft engines.  Could I turn them and run them on their sides (with a little modification, such as oil and gas tank location)?

Probably not due to lubrication issues

Question are the engeins vert shaft or horizontal shaft?

Second what are the out put shaft diameters 5/8", 3/4" or 1"?

And lastly have you got any welding skills at all?

I myself made a kinda bike thing a few years ago with a 5hp horizontal shaft engine from a preshure washer.  I had a 1" shaft go-cart clutch but my engine was only a 3/4" shaft so i made a adapter on the poor mans lath (aka screw driver and a bench grinder).

Anyways the bike worked ok and after i sorted out the gearing it did a GPS recorded speed of 50km/hr.  I built it for a charity compatition so the rules kinda hindered me A LOT.  I am hoping to build another one soon but A lot better quality.

But here is a pic i had a video but for some reson its been deleted

Forget these engines!  Bearclaw has inspired me to build an electric powered bike.  It shouldn't be too difficult and it will be a lot easier than some of the other things mentioned..

Not to mentioned it's a lot more practical than driving a hovercraft around in Daytona Beach.

I say you screw all of the ideas you have had so far and build a plane to fly the forumers to the ukon, and since I had the idea of using the engines for this, I call first passenger.

Why? No one would want you there. It's like the kid at school that everyone hates, but he always tries to get in their groups for class projects.
