I have been looking on the internet and have found an Sp-8. It is not from Tippmann so I do not trust it. Is there a body kit for the A-5, X-7, or custom 98 that would be able to get M8 body style. Thank you for all help and comments. If not should i just go with the Sp-8 from the Smart Parts company. Or possibly a P90 style kit

SP8s are essentially Ions with a plastic mil-sim body.  I don't like them because they always felt bulky even compared to Tippmanns.  However, Ions are decent entry level electro-pneumatic markers with a lot of upgrade potential.

What Mack said.  Ions aren't a bad way to go, but unless you are really looking for milsim, a "regular" Ion is more practical and cheaper than an SP-8.

Well i want a milsim for woodsball. Everyone i go with has m4, m16, Aks, and all the same guns. I was wanting something different but, reliable. I like the M8 look. Does anyone know if the sp1 is compatible with the kit?

Sorry Im a noob and Thanks For the Help.

If I am not mistaken, the SP8 is just an SP1 with the M8 look. If you want the M8 look just go with the SP8.

^^^ What he said.  The only difference I know of is that the original SP1s didn't have full auto capability or eyes.  I believe both of those issues have already fixed on the new ones and upgrades are out there for the older ones.
