I'm a poor dude and because of it, I'm real adamant about maintaining practically everything I own because I want it to last. I do have a great affinity for my gun though. It kind of allows me to time warp back to my young days when I carried a rifle for real and I treat it as such, with a complete tear down, cleaning and lubing after every day at the field. So how about you guys, is your TIPPY your best bud?

Unless my gun has had a day of not getting hit (rare indeed) I do the full cleaning proccess. I have it down pat and a 98 isnt too hard to clean up in the first place. But I don't have just one gun. My girlfriends VS3 and my ACP, along with her brothers gun         &nb sp;    (Wal-martomatic) all need cleaning. But that doesnt bother me, I've always loved to take things apart and mess with the bits and pieces.

I'm the same way with the real rifles I take to the ranges. They never stay dirty for more then a day. I find this pretty funny because I'm such a slob otherwise.

About your gun, Tech, I just realized what it reminds me of. Ever play Killzone? The Helgast have a machinegun that you can get that looks a lot like your marker (you thought I was gonna say the S word, didn't you?)

Hehe, nawe, I would've just told you you were crazy then, lol. So hey, can you grab a pic in game of that gun? I'd love to see what it looks like.

It depends on the day. When I first started, I would tear the marker apart and wash, dry and lube everything. The longer I play, the less I do this. It also depends like Nagash says on how many gun hits I take or how dirty everything got. As an example last time I played I took maybe one marker hit and that was on the hopper, and I didnt chop the entire day. I did very basic outer cleaning. However, I do everytime, wash and clean all of my pods, hoppers and let them air dry. I do this mainly because I almost always seem to get paint residue on them as they are carried in front pockets on my vest and inevitably get plastered with paint.

A lot depends on the time I have as well. Being married with 3 kids, by the time I get home, my wife is ready to be releived and I sometimes, don't have the leisure of spending 2 hours cleaning all my gear. I am busy getting twin 3 year olds bathed and read bedtime stories.

i have to say that at least 2 of my guns have gone neglected. I am in the process of remedying that right now.

My SMG is kinda sitting right now, until I figure out HOW to fix it.

I like keeping my markers pristine.  I'm always changing something or adjusting something, so 80% of the time they're in pieces anyways.  This leads to a full cleaning and re-assembly almost every time.

Top row, at the end. The shots here are oddly not exact copies of the ones in the game, but close enough.

I think you ment to link them into the weapons page there buddy

Anyway, like he said the shots there ain't that great. I'll look to see if I can find an in-game shot. The guns in that game looked really good.

I ALWAYS clean mine inside and out, re-oil/re-lube, even if I didn't break a ball.
