Subject: Which 98c Barrel should I purchase? READ

I wanted to buy a barrel for my 98custom, I want this barrel to be able to be able to shoot a paintball far, and have great accuarcy, personally I am thinking about accquiring another 14" Lapco bigshot, because that is what I have on my A-5, with my Rain-x mod in it.

I just wanted to know which one would be the best-buy for the situation at hand..

Best price I could find on the Lapco Bigshot - http://www.countysports.com - www.countysports.com

(Oldy 98c No Anti-chop or E-grip add-on capability )

-BTW is there a way I can add-on an electronic firing mode, Besides buying one of them ridiculous E-bolts 0_0 ??

- Other suggestions for upgrading for accuarcy will be greatly appreciated! I am thinnking about replacing my stock bolt in my gun because it is getting worn. (Stock parts are the best for tippys -_-)

_____ SOMEONE KICK ME I FORGOT TO ADD THE APEX!! :( _______

Thanks guys,

OK,
Yes I am aware that I am double-posting, however I was wondering if anybody knew any information on the APEX barrel system and if you can mount it on.. say on a Lapco Bigshot or J&J 14"....

Please I need to know so I know what to order, so that in the next game I can carry my 98(Longball gun) with me, along with my A-5(assualt gun) and have the 98 be alot more accuarte than the A-5

I love the enthusiasm here...

a j&j 14" or 16" (anything bigger then 14 is no point, but for looks) or a lapco bigshot 14" is your best bet.

a 21 inch barrel is not worth it and it is a waste of money really. unless you want it for looks?

EDIT: allso the apex can be modded to fit a j&j barrel, i think lapco made a kit for there barrel (not to shure)

You cannot have range+accuracy in paintball. You can have one or the other. Not both.

Lapco makes an apex ready BS barrel. If I am not mistaken, if your marker is too old to accept an E-trigger than your only option is an E-bolt without major milling/modding.

It's possible to have both range and accuracy considering you can turn off the Apex when the extra range isn't needed.  I found that the ramp doesn't completely retract from the ball path when in the off position.

i love my cp barrel kit but i also like my empire kit. i only paid 85 for my kit and it has 6 backs and 1 front. also if you get a chance to get an ebolt you should jump on it. i love mine and i put in a dm5 board and i am waitin on my 2 way ram

True, but you will still not be able to have accuracy at range. That was my point.

If you do not personally own the product you shouldn't really comment on it.
