Anybody have them in their area? They just started using them within the past two weeks or so, and I haven't noticed any significant change in traffic; people still continue to do 60+ regardless of the speed limit, and the variable speeds do not seem to help traffic.

Never heard of them, but the only enforcable way would be time of day not amount of traffic

Yeah, all of the speed limit signs along the highway have been replaced with digital signs so that the numerical value can be changed. It's supposed to change during rush hour, whenever traffic is heavy, or when theres an accident. I guess the idea is that by lowering the speed limit during rush hour, traffic won't jam up as people try to merger onto the highway. -------------
