That makes no sense.

The last time I checked 12 hours in america is the same 12 hours anywhere else in the world.

First off, thank you for your service - I hope you are safe and comfortable.

Second:
Is that stuff some kind of grease?
It sounds like you've already been using it (on other guns); How has it worked out?
I cant imagine why it would be unsafe if a thin film was used.
I have just applied a graphite based dry lube to the inside of my A-5, but would love to hear how that stuff works out for you.
If you are able to, give the inside a good polishing, I was shocked at how rough the inside of mine was. I guess you dont want to go too far with the polishing, but parts do seem to slide much more freely, without getting hung-up on rough spots in the receiver.

By the way, how clean do the inside of your other guns stay with that stuff.

like i have said i use it on both my pm5 and dm5.it works pretty good. just looking at the stuff i didnt think it would be that slippery, but it was. the inturnals stay pretty clean b/c the only place that dirt could get in is down the feedneck or barrel. i just dont want to use something that will mess it up(even though i only paid 130 for an a5, flatline, and m4 stock). on my 98 i only ever used oil
