Today while playing I  noticed my balls were really curving during flight. After about 35 feet they would hook or slice sharply, so I changed barrels from the stock A5 barrel to a 14" smart parts progressive barrel with the same affect. So I switched again to a 16" opsgear interceptor and got the same affect. It was pretty humid that today. I was running the marker on c02 at 270/fps. I have not had this problem before any advice?

Its possible your barrel isn't clean. Check to see if there is any oil or paint left in it, that would cause them to do that. Also if its humid its possible the paintballs got soft or lopsided, hot humid weather will damage paintballs thats why they have those special "humidity proof bags".

sounds like you're using paint from last year.

could also be that some of the covering of the balls has built up on the inside of the barrel

You know besides keeping your barrel clean and your balls cool, you gotta make sure you don't have junk all over your bolt. If you overoil your bolt o-ring or the bolt itself, it'll 'spit' oil into your barrel and it doesn't take much to start throwing curve balls.

It was probaby the paint then, it was the paint I had to buy from the field. The shell was preety thick though, smelled like crap. I did have my first barrel break so maybe it was that. I thought i cleaned my barrel out pretty good before the next game though. And the reason I had three barrels lightningbolt was because I brought two markers.

The reason I mentioned that you used 3 barrels was to explain to ranger 53 that the likelyhood of it being the barrel wasn't very good.

Oh sorry I missed that. I think I'm gonna get me a J&J ceramic 12". That way I'll know its not my barrel.

Could have been a break in the bag that got on the rest of the paint.  It doesn't require a lot of excess paint on the exterior of a paintball to throw off the aerodynamics. Once you'd fired a few, you'd also have a thin coating on the barrel interior that could get on clean paint.
