Crazy guy stomping an innocent child on the side of the road in the middle of some country/farm area during the night. Sounds like this came straight out of a horror movie. Anyways, thats pretty messed up. Luckily, the cops killed him. -------------

From what I understand there were people that tried, but couldn't. They got near, but he was to nuts, but they did call the authorities. Poor, poor kid. That guy got off easy being downed by bullets. I'm not. It would have been better to throw him in jail, because the other inmates would tear him apart for what he did. You've seen what they do to child molesters, I would have liked to see what they would've come up with to punish this guy. -------------

Yea, that guy would have been Big Al's butt buddy for the rest of his life. Still, I don't get how 2-3 car loads of people couldn't stop him. I'm sure he was goin nuts, but 2 or 3 guys should have been able to at least get him off the kid. -------------

I'm not one for profanity...but thats **edited**ed up. The sheriff that shot him was right in doing so. I can't say I would have done the same thing, because it would be such an incredibly hard thing to do to take another human life, but that man was an animal, and would have received the death sentence anyway. | How old were the people who attempted to stop him? Someone doing something like that to a child requires as much force as you can administer in as short of an amount of time as possible. Forget trying to pull him off, kick the $#!+ out of him, gouge his eyes, club him with a rock, etc, until he stops. I'm sure someone could have got to a tire iron before the police arrived, although the child was probably dead long before that. Damn. |

I would of done anything in my power to stop him. I don't care if he would of done permanant damage to me, I would have stopped the dude. But just one guy running full speed from behind him could of took him down.

Everybody says that they would have done whatever it took to stop him and everything, and I would like to say the same thing, but you know, without actually being there you can't say how you would have reacted. If I just drove by some guy beating a child I'm not sure what I would honestly. I'd love to to be able to say I would just jump out of my car and help the kid, but just imagine how shocking that would be, most people would probably be too shocked to really do anything about it.
