Here's my collection of guns layed out all pretty like. My Ariakon ACP2.0, so far with nothing done to it (I plan on filling in the Ariakon name and hand painting in the Hellsing Arms Division logo from the Hellsing series). Also a Spyder Fenix that technically isn't mine but night be in the next few days. It needs a new macroline and could use a better feedneck. It has a Freak kit somewhere in the disaster I call a room. Next is my GF's VS3, but it really is only hers in name. I use the thing more and do all the maintance myself. Then there is the JT Tactical 5 Recon, got that one so her brother could play other then that it never sees the light of day.

Then there is my pet, my 98c. So far all theupgrades are done. Cyclone, X-chamber, Drop with on/off, Freak Kit and the E-trigger. I'm gonna tear the thing down, add a split reciever mod to it and then do some body work. I'm gonna clean up all the scratches and dings with some JB weld and get rid of the warning stuff. Take of the Tippmann name and do the same Hellsing logo as the ACP2.0. Also in there is a 48/3000 HPA tank, two 20oz's and two 9ozers. All in all it makes me smile.

I really love it. Some people get unlucky and have the cup seal go on them almost right away, but mine has held up fine. It hasn't had anything done to it other then my usual obsesive maintance and it works great. The ten round mags really make you think about each shot, so playing becomes very much about feeling out the other guy and waiting for them to goof up. The worst part about the gun seems to be the holster. Ariakon really dropped the ball with that thing. I'm 6'2" and the thing drops down to far on me. I can't imagine how a small person isn't dragging it behind them...

I'm still waiting to hear if the Fenix is gonna be mine or if the guy is actually gonna want it back. I'm hoping he just gives it up and says keep it, especially with getting a second Freak out of it. :-)

I like the idea of the Tac-8, but I refuse to spend over $250 on it, plus $40 for each clip. Call me cheap

Alright then. I got a good amount of work done on my 98c the other night. I still have a bit more work to do before I get to paint it, but it looks pretty nice like this so what the hell. Had to put it back together for a game tomorrow anyway.

So heres the stuff so far. Rounded off the front sight, no more blocky-ness. TIPPMANN wording went bye bye to make room for some writing. Push safe/push fire gone as well, going to be replaced by some more theme appropriate wording. Paint stripped completely off. Thanks to a product called Klean-Strip.

Considering the velocity lip as well, but I need to find a good RVA with a shiney black finish. The 32 degree one looks nice. Anyone know if it works well? Quick-stip mod still to be done as well as filling in the 98 Custom plate. Also getting rid of the lame railing along the top.

that plastic trigger guard needs to come off, it clashes with the shiney

It won't be staying shiney like that. In the end it is gonna be a gloss black to match the X-chamber, drop foward and barrel. I'll give the trigger and guard a once-over as well to make them match, probably the cyclone too.

Nope. I was considering it but it would clash with the writing that's gonna be on the gun. That whole area is going to be filled in and rounded out.

I got this gun for 70 bucks from Kmart before it went under. I did all the milling and stripping in one night, in only about two hours. The rest of the work will have to be done in stages over the next few weeks, won't be able to do it all at once, seeing as how there is a lot of filling work to do. I can't wait until this thing is done.
