Any proof; statistics, theories, processes, ect to actually believe this guy? Instead of a picture and a half ass paragraph claiming almost perfection?

And if he cut back on his horsepower. But still, 400HP 500 FT.LBS torque and 80MPG, thats awesome.

I am suspect of any story that begins with "LX Coupes are awesome", but it will certainly be exciting to see what comes of this.

Other variants of this story are floating around, some with him claiming 100+ mpg, so the facts are a little fuzzy yet.  And the story where he claims 0-60 in 3 seconds makes me think something is fishy...

But I am all for it, and look forward to seeing how this works out.

If he used regular gas and scaled back HP I'm sure he would assuming he can get 80 now

I'd like to know what exactly hes done to achieve such MPG.

Sounds to good to be true IMHO.

Stop trolling. If you wouldn't make stupid comments about imports, I wouldn't call you out on your stupid comments about imports.

None of the articles go into any explanation of how he managed to achieve 80 mpg except that he used "electronics". I'm skeptical until he explains how he does it.

Even if it does do 80mpg, you are still stuck with an 87 mustang.

People would do crazy things for an 80 mpg car with these gas prices. Look at the people buying smart cars and scooters to save at the gas pump.

The Truth.

But in all seriousness, pretty cool if it isn't a hoax.

funny how a little group of guys can do something that drastic to a car like that and still have the HP to kick ass when need be and yet major manufacturers are bragging about 40mpg 100-200hp that can barely break 120mph

My town has been hit with the "scooter/moped" trend. Seems like everyone has one now.

You said I said that on the rav 4 forum or something. In which I said I'm not a member to those forums. Sure I may have said it here on tippmann.

Never mind, misread. For some reason I assumed he said I said something on a rav 4 FORUM. Not a rav 4 thread. But in all honestly. I had completely forgotten about that rav 4 thread. I didn't think it was that big of an issue.
