So Ive been collecting parts and working on this 98 Custom for over a year now.  SRT-4 inspired me to go all out and do it right.  Ive owned countless 98s, but this will be my last one.  Im not sure if I want to call it 100% finished yet, as Ive got some more ideas floating around in my head.  Anyways, Ive kept this project under wraps for the whole build, only a few knew what I had planned for it..it has been hard to keep a secret.

Id like to thank a few people that have helped in some way get this project where it is: SRT-4, Macgyver, Firstout, Dark Seoul, and of course Natural Newbie for pioneering extreme 98 Custom modding.

And for all of you Video people out there..I will have one up as soon as I get some more air and paint and have the time to do it.  Im pretty swamped with the summer courses Im enrolled in right now.

Keep an eye out, there will be a collaboration with the Predator II very soon.

Edit:  July 9, 2008.  More Pictures of internals etc.

A lot of people have been asking for closer up internal shots and how some of the stuff was done, well here are some better pictures so you can see what was done.

Every time I see a "No Tippmanns!" in the trades section for people's B/S/T's, I shall LOL.

And I shall be satisfied.

I think I'll work on my sleeper M98.

Edited with some better internal pictures and what not, figured these would help hold you guys over until I can get a video (probably a week or so the way my week has been going at work and school).  Anyways, Ill be sure to get a video asap when I get air, paint, and time lol.  Enjoy!

That gun inspired me to pull my 98 out of the tool box.  Speaking of Natural Nub I haven't slung paint with him in a long time.

But they're just so huge and expensive.

Nah not really..thats what the clay is for..so i dont pinch eye wires.  Other than making sure the eye wires arent between the recievers its just like closing any other 98.

That's crazy cool, man. A lot of ingenuity went into it after a further look. Again, nice work.

He did it for just 20.00, but he doesn't do it anymore due to him taking a break from machining.

How did the Howitzer bolt effect the gun? Ive been wondering if I should upgrade the stock power tube and bolt. With my gun the only thing Im only looking for is accuracy and wanting to do anything to upgrade that.

Howitzer bolt is just for total upgradedness..theres not much improvement over stock.  Your bolt isnt going to help your accuracy, for that you need a better barrel and better paint.  Go with a CP 1 piece..they are cheap and the best barrel ive ever had.  Im going to buy one for this 98, but in 14".

To everyone else..Im in the process of moving/packing so I havent had the time to even get to the field and my gear is packed in boxes for the move..im working on getting a video once Im done relocating.

Welcome to the forum. Please refrain from bumping 2+ year old threads. And FYI, the OP sold this marker a long time ago.

Oh i was a member a while ago, but my name got deleted, probably due to inactivity,.  I havent been around for about 5 years or so.  I was one of the first ones to make a marker like that.  I am actually thinking about selling mine as well, since I dont use it anymore.

Holy crap, man! You're not THE NN, are you? If so, you revolutionized E-Bolt tinkering. You still have the nicest E-Bolt marker I've ever seen! Stick around, man!

I am THE NN Big smile.  Im just getting back into PB, so I started browsing the forums again.  It caught my eye to see a few other great modified ebolt builds.  Mine still runs great after not being used for about 5 years.  i dont plan on playing tournament paintball again, so I may be selling my ebolt marker.  Thanks for the compliments man, see ya around!

I've toyed with the idea of hacking an E-Bolt into my old original M98. It would be some work, but very fun.

Good to see you here NN. Its always nice to hear of someone rejoining the ranks.

I am going to take some video of me shooting the marker for keeps sake. After that, I've decided to pass it on to someone who will use it more than I. I will probably sell it on ebay.
