Got 4 taken out today, for a grand total of 6 that have been pulled from my mouth to this date. Not in a lot of pain, and they gave me a ton of percoset too, which is cool I guess.
Best party was getting to play the pathetic card to get a hot girlyfriend babysit me all morning.
ANyone else done this lately?

Chat has seen her before. Not a girlfriend anymore, it's more complicated than that. She's a cutie though.

Do we really need a thread everytime someone gets out of school for the summer, or visits youtube?

I had 'em out back in May. Hoginds, I promise you won't be. But also, it's not that bad after the first day. Even the first day isn't terrible. Just make sure to take whatever pain meds they give you quickly (before the anaesthetic wears off).

Am I wrong, or doesn't everyone only have 4 wisdom teeth?
I had all 4 taken out in 8th grade. Practically old school at this point.

I was awake for the entire operation. And the trainee who was doing the left half of my mouth sewed my gums well into my cheek. Took a month to heal right. I magine eating nothing but yogurt and cold soup for a month. It sucks

Some people have more than 4 i think, and i'm pretty sure it's not that rare. I have a friend who is getting five "wisdom" teeth out I believe. As for myself, I had two middle range teeth taken out years ago, just because my teeth grow in very tightly.
I think it's interesting to hear about thek ids who are born without them, I guess that's a point for evolution..

I was supposed to have mine out last January, then my job was closing down so I had to work as much as I could to stock up on money. Now they don't bother me.

i only had the 2 bottom ones. both got ripped out. I wasn't put out for the procedure, only numbed, and I drove myself home afterwards.
One was so impacted that when they got it out, they hit a nerve and half my face was numb for a couple months afterwards.
it sucked.

Got four of mine out when I was 15. It's funny because I didn't expect to be knocked out. A needle was put into my arm and I was told that it would make everything like a 'dream'. Damn right, after following his instructions to count backwards from 100 I was prolly gone before I got to 90. Got teased from my friends for a while for the way I sounded that day when they'd give my cell a call. Although I DID enjoy the week off school
