Local story I heard on the way to the gym this morning. http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/myfox/pages/News/Detail?contentId=6069015&version=1&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=3.3.1 - Linky

I don't think it's the police's job to care whether or not she just had surgery, they told her A) to stay in her car, B) to NOT walk to the other car repeatedly, C) the not get into his car, which she did anyways, and then leaned in to start talking to him. A police officer doesn't know what her real motive for something like that is, she was being stupid, and in the effort to arrest her, her implant may have been damaged, sounds to me like she's just trying to go up another size on the City's bank account.

All that could have been avoided if she had just listened to the damn Police Officer's in the first place.

If she stayed in the car she couldn't flaunt her new accessories.

Her breast implant burst ? That sounds painful.

Boyfriend had a warrant, she doesn't listen. Sounds like an idiot.

Maybe the officer should have waited till his computer got back to him with the drivers history before letting them go.
Most people would be extremely pissed if they were pulled over by the same officer twice within 10 minutes of each other. The lady's reaction is understandable in the situation, while the officers actions is stupid.

While the lady being frustrated is understandable, it still was not right for her to go and do whatever she wants.  Officers give orders for everyones safety, not just their own.  The last thing I would ever do is walk up to an officers car.

Ummm or not.

I really hope you aren't serious. Getting pulled over twice isn't the issue. It is the getting out of the car when told not to and then complaining because they arrested you?

Don't have a warrant out for your arrest.

That seems like a good plan, does it not?

OT: This was the first post from my new Mac. Don't give me crap about it.

I still don't know what makes people want to get out of the car the first time, but a second time after being told not to?

Plus, the fact that she said she was on the ground being cuffed probably means she resisted, which is WHY she was put on the ground, which is shown by her charges.

Obviously the officers had a very good reason for pulling them over again.  She did two stupid things:

  1. Got out of the car AFTER being told to stay in the car.
  2. Resisted arrest after disobeying an officer.

Sorry, but they don't plant you on the ground and hold you down there UNLESS you're not lying still while they are trying to cuff you.  If you're acting reasonable and generally obeying their instructions they will cuff you standing up or without having to hold you prone.
