Hey all, long time tippmann user here, first time poster.

My A-5 is around 5 years old and has always worked like a charm, but recently I am having a problem where after every shot, my gun will "uncock" automatically. I tried with two different co2 canisters and got the same issue. Just cleaned out the gun and put everything back properly so i dont know what the problem could be.

I will keep searching the forums for an answer, as I know many people have probably had this problem, and if I find a helpful post, ill leave the URL here, but to anyone who can help, please do so.

Thanks in advance

have you changed the o-rings? and do you run a remote? maybe it has something to do with the remote or whatever sort of hosing your using leading into the gun

My o-rings seem to be in fine condition, but what specific ones would you recommend changing to rectify this issue? Also, the gun is default with the exception of a double trigger, which i doubt would effect my current predicament.

So many things could cause this...

We can assume that you didn't just add some new upgrade?

Check the powertube for cracks (very fine cracks).  See if you can borrow a drive spring from somebody else.

There have been no recent upgrades. If I decide to bring it to a shop, what should I have them look for? And what kind of o-rings should i buy to replace?
