So I'm looking into a paintball pistol, as my A5 has this annoying habit of running low on gas on me while I'm out on the field. It gets to the point where it won't feed a ball with the cyclone every time, and as you can guess, this is a very big problem if you're under fire or trying to suppress so your team can move up. So I'm looking into a pistol to have with me when this happens.
I'm leaning towards the T8, but I think it's the only one I've seen that looks good to me, so it's drawing my attention, but I don't really care about looks, I want a good, reliable, accurate pistol.
Anyone have any other suggestions, or would the T8 meet my needs? There's not really any fields around here that carry pistols (that I've seen) and not too many players carry them, so I can't try them out first.
Any help/comments/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

T8 hold 8 rounds. the magazine is pretty small and wont really get much done as an in combat back-up. unless you can hit a target with 1 or 2 shots with a paintball, i don't see it being very effective. you would need to be able to reload it fast and have lots of spare mags. i think the spare mags go for about $30 or $40. it has a 17 round expanded mag, but its pretty big/long and wouldn't fit in a holster with the mag in. a completely different idea..... you could just carry a small spare co2 tank, such as a 9 or 12oz. so you could just swap it out and your back in the game. theres also the tippmann pistol that is coming out sometime. but i'm not sure when but i think you would see something similar to what i mentioned above.

The problem with carrying a spare Co2 tank is that it quits feeding the cyclone before (probably 20 or more shots) before it's out of air. It would require that whole decompressing job of partly unscrewing the tank, firing a few shots to bleed pressure off, completely unscrewing tank, and putting new one on. While not exactly a time consuming action, it does let the other team know what's going on, and that I'm pretty vulnerable for a few seconds.

I would think that for the price of a decent pistol you could get an HPA tank, which has a gauge. Then you would never run out of air mid-game again.

You might want to look into guns like the Delta 68, Ariakron ACP pistol, Armotech G1 and G2, There is a very rare and very cool Desert Duck 68 pump up for sale on ebay now, its only 3,550.00, haha anyways, PTxtreme paintball pistols, PGP's are supposed to be sweet but they are pump not semiautomatic, and RAP4's are all over the internet, don't know much about them though, I think i've always heard that RAP4 crap is well crap.

Buddy of mine plays slingshot sometimes. Got into a dual at the local field with one of the regulars who refs there and is on a tourny team. My friend snapped shot him out while he was reloading using a slingshot and paint he picked up off the ground. :) The guy normally plays pump but will go out with the slingshot to improve his mobility skills.
I have a Zeus and ACP. Both nice markers for pistols. I like the ACP better just because it is lighter.

QFT. (Although, I'll carry one as a sidearm as well since I already have it.)

I was mostly joking, but my brother and I think it would be hysterical fun to actually try this.

Depends if the story fits the post. They may not have seen the other post I mentioned it in thus I may restate it here.

Dont get a Co2 tank, get compressed air.Co2 is realy inaccurate and 1 out of 5 shots will go wild.

| That's a barrel/paint to match problem, not co2. Unless you confused "consistent" with "accurate". in that case, you are halfway right.

| Leaks are easily detectable, but A-5s have a tendency to use a bit more gas, due to heavy internals. He just needs a larger tank.
With a 3.5oz, it will easily fit in a pocket, and will run about $20 new. Plus, they're so darn cute.
