This guy on youtube on expert village said never to take apart a tippmann unless you have a problem, do you agree?  If your not supposed to take it apart how are you supposed to maintain it???

Tippmanns are low maintenance.  The people I know who have a tippmann, after a game they will just wipe it down, get all the paint off of it they can see, and shoot some oil through it.  Theyll take it apart maybe once in a while to make sure everything is going smooth and clean it up more.

I agree and disagree.  You really don't need to break it down very often, but it is good to familiarize yourself with the interworkings of your marker so you can field strip it properly when that time does come.

It will lube the valve.  It is also a good idea to pull the end cap and put a very light coat of oil on the hammer (rear bolt).

This is true for Tippmanns.  But you don't really have to do it every time...

True, I strip mine down about once every 6 to 8 days of play unless I get a break in the chamber.
