Is there a difference between the hpa and compressed air? Second, is there any difference between those two and the compressed air that most people fill their tires with?

To get High Pressure Air (HPA), you need to COMPRESS it.

air out of an industrial compressor will generally not have the types of filters that a high pressure compressor will have.

if you get water, oil, or dirt in a 3000-5000 psi tank you can have explosions.
