Snape is well cast. Alan Rickman is awesome, even if some  director cuts most of his scenes out of a movie. The next one has him as a fairly central character. He's in the freakin' title.
The original Dumbledore was a far better choice. Since he died this new guy just doesn't play it like the character reads. -------------

| They might not be the best actors. Even on the latest movie, i still think it can be corny at points, but it can be hard to give a good performance for what they are trying to portray. If you watch the latest movie with the very first movie, you can tell a huge difference in how well they act. |

I can see this director screwing Alan Rickman out of screen time.
It'll get all the way through with no Snape at all, and then they realize who the Half-Blood Prince is and it cuts to three seconds of Snape on the roof with Dumbledore. ::BLAM!:: Cut away, no more Snape. -------------

I read the books, but I've only seen bits and peices of the movies.
I already had preconceived notions of what everyone looked/acted like, and I didn't like the actors chosen to portray them. That, and watching a movie when you already know the whole plot is kind of lame. -------------

i'm excited for this film. i started reading the first book when it first came out, but i never finished because i just wanted to see the movie. i was like, what's the point of reading it, if there are going to have movies instead.

Miley Cyrus is hideous. Back on topic, I've disliked the HP movies since they didn't put Peeves in the series. I thought I had heard the 5th one was going to be the last one they were going to produce, up until about a week ago. I always thought the HP series was kind of cheesy but there are so many terrible movies out that the HP movies become the better option. The later ones had some more action and good special effects though so I can deal with the cheesy wizard/witch stuff.
