Is there any way that anyone could think that I could make my own rail or height adjuster. Heres my situation:
I have a 98 custom, with a car stock on the back, and a red dot on the top rail (lip) on the gun. The issue is my mask bumps my stock so I can't get low enough for the laser dot. so I was going to try and elevate it and then I should be fine after I adjust where the dot is in the sight.
Does anyone have any ideas for a Do It Yourself method of elevating something on the 98c frame?
EXAMPLE:
Is kind of what the commercial version is... but I was hoping for anyones ideas on how to make my own kinda thing?

Borg's mod is actually pretty sweet - and easy.
I altered my hand trail for my Alpha Black by using a weaver rail ($9) from my Shotgun (Benelli Nova). I can now move my Hunting Red Dot between the two as needed.
I took a small piece of metal and bended it - drilled it to fit the weaver Rail for a flush sight fit.
Works great!
