i have a alpha black with a 16inch r.i.s. barrel can i put an apex tip onthe barrel or do i have to buy a whole new barrel ?

| Depends what the diametre of the barrel is. If you have an apex already in your possesion just try the tape mod. |

The Apex tip needs either a special Adapter or the ever popular Tape Mod to get them to work with certain barrels.
If your barrel has a "muscle break" the Apex will not fit on it. Lapco makes Apex ready barrels as does Palmers Persuit Shop and I believe some of the SpecialOps Paintball C serries barrels and the J&J ceramics. -------------

i can screw the tip of my barrel off to change the look of the end of it if thats what u mean! I dident no if i take the tip off the end of my barrel if the apex would just screw on. trying to refrain from buying another barrel this 1 i have cost $90 and dont want to spend that again if i dont have too. ------------- Alpha Black W/E-grip 16" R.I.S barrel/ 16" M16 Apex Barrel 98c Cyclone Reddot scope |

Apex's don't screw on. They come apart in halves. Apex Barrels and adapters have these grooves and notches where the barrel claps on.
Look at the ends of these Apex ready barrels. see what I mean.  -------------

ahh ok they clamp on ic ic. can i buy an adaptor that screws on to the end of my barrel that will let it clamp on like that
