Are awsome...

Currently im living with my grandparents working for them. I have 6 grandparents living in the same town (parents are divorced)

Well i'm leaving to go back home on Saturday so I can get done with the final preperations of college. My birthday is going to be in 10 days. So while i was working, my grandmother/boss came over, told me to get cleaned up, and come up to the office. At first i thought i was introuble for another BS reason. But turns out she was going to let me pick out a birthday present at WallyWorld. So i was thinking the budget was $100-$200 max.

We were passing through the game section (as i was on my way to the Car accessories) and i noticed that the XBox 360 Basic was on sale for $250. So, naturally like some of you would do, mumbled to yourself, "wow thats kind of cheap." Well, turns out she heard me. As i continue to walk to the Car Accessories i noticed she has disappeared. So i turn around and try to find her, ( because i was still on the clock so i had to hurry in picking my gift) as i round the corner of the gaming section, She had already purchased a 360 Elite with three games, Ace Combat 6, Halo 3, and COD 4...best birthday present ever...thusfar

I can't clearly remember the last time I turned on my 360. I'm sure I have to do some major updates and there's supposed to be a very large fall update before too long.

I've been much more active on PSN. My only friends on PSN are from here. Is that sad?

Thats cool.  My grandparents have struggled their whole life, so if I ever get the chance like by winning the lottery, I'd like to spoil them.

Also, for a while I was thinking I had never heard of Wally World, so I googled it and Walmart came up...I seriously don't think I've ever heard anyone call it that before.

LOL.  There's a locally owned chain of gas stations around here called "Wally World" and at first I thought you were talking about that.

So I was like "They're taking you to a gas station for a birthday present? They must hate you"

Then I realized you were talking about that evil corporate giant.

I only have one grand parent (that's still alive).

For my birthday, when she remembers, I usually get $25.

my grandma always tries to give $20 when I see her. I always give her a hug and place it back in her pocket.

Cool deal with presents. My grandparents have been good to me, my grandpa has bought me a few flyrods and a shotgun and is currently letting me use his car since I had to be stupid and wreck mine. I'm down to three grandparents, two of which are suffering from Alzheimer's or dementia.  If my grandfather does end up having a hip replacement I'm going to end up living with them. As of now I'm often doing yardwork for two houses. My uncle is pretty good at chipping in, he even managed to put in the railing my father said he would deal with a decade ago. Grandparents will take care of you, just be prepared to return the favor.

I read that at first as you wrecked a shotgun, which peaked my interest as to how someone does that.

I actually did wreck my first shotgun of the same model with a round that hang-fired, so it was out of battery when it went off. Shot came out of the barrel, breach, and loading gate and the pump arm got stuck full to the rear. Not cool.

...I've got to keep my mouth shut around my grandparents from now on, or my Great Grandmother rather. She lives right next door to my grandmother. She got wind of the early B-day and decided to get me a WallyWorld (NOT GAS STATION) gift card. I told her what i planned on getting with it ( wireless adapter for deh 360). So i come to work today, after working 4 hours, decide to take my lunch break. As im halfway done with my lunch, the door opens. Sure enough, its Grandma, holding what other than a freaking Wireless adapter...

This is by far the most expensive thing i have ever gotten for a birthday, in which the surrealism of it all hasn't quite all worn off.

And on another note, i beat COD4 Campaign on Hard in one sitting, now i need to get back to my parents house so i can hvae a wireless area.

How is AC6? I used to like those games so much. I think the next game
I get will be Madden though.

I'm not buying madden again until they make a change that is actually relevant to game play.
