I was hangin out with one of my girlfriends and we made a cigarette run to this local gas station that we always go to. We always talk to the cashier and joke with him like... everyday. I was talking about how everyone at our work likes to steal my bic lighters. So we saw a magenta flip lighter (it's my favorite color) and my friend was like, "get it! now no one will steal your bics."
so i got it. we went to go light one up and i was like... this lighter is bunk. it doesn't work. i went back inside and went the cashier and said, "Chris! You sold me a bunk lighter!" He replied, "no, it's a good lighter, you spent $22 on a Zippo. There's no way it's broke. It just needs fluid." I'm like What!? I seriously spent $22 on a lighter without even knowing? i felt sooo retarded. that's why you don't purchase anything at 3 am in the morning while intoxicated. -------------

I won't go anywhere without my zippo, and have tins of fluid stashed out in each place I usually hang out.
People sometimes laugh at zippo's, but then I laugh at them when they try to light a smoke in rough winds in the rain. Show's them! And, I may be outta wack but, 22$ for a zippo is pretty reasonable. I payed 40$ for mine. Oh, and to the OP, if you say 3am, you don't have to specify that it was in the morning :) ------------- A second class drive is always better than a first class walk. |

I kinda agree with the whole "smoking girls are unattractive." It takes a VERY specific kind of girl to pull of the cig-hanging-off-their-lips look.

This reminds me of a time when my buddy and I were driving through town and came up next to a girl driving a silver VW jetta. Based on the model of the vehicle, we figured there was an 80% chance that she was hot. This held true until the other 20% showed up as her hand fell out of the window with a cig between the fingers. Normally this is true. But there are some exceptions in my book. I'll say this now, a cigarette in no way adds to attractiveness to me, but with the right girl, it doesn't diminish it either. Normally, the "right girl" is a bit "punky" or tomboyish. I'm sorry but the biggest turnoff for me is the thought of kissing a girl who smokes. It's like licking a metal ashtray. I guess if you smoke too it's no big deal but as a non-smoker I just can't stand that. So when I see a woman, no matter how physically attractive she might be, smoking that's the first thought that comes to mind...licking a metal ashtray...and then immediately she is no longer attractive. I see. I was kind of the same way I guess. I've lightened up about it over the past year or so. Practically all my friends are chain smokers, so it doesn't really help when we go out to bars. I smoke a lot when I'm around them. It used to bother me when my ex smoked around me, but I stopped caring after awhile.
