Yeah, so I bought a '95 civic a few months ago. It's a really nice car and I got a pretty good deal on it and all, but the one thing that has been bugging me is that it has no power.....anything...
So, my question to all of you car people out there is: Is there any way for me to remedy this situation? Like aftermarket kits, or getting some doors off of a civic that had power locks/windows? At some point, I would like to get a keyless entry/remote start kit installed, will that be possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and, the car also lacks cruise control. Any help there?

Windows and locks- Pull a door of a Civic with power locks and windows. Wire it up. Cruise control- Can't help you. I don't think anyone can.
Now, good luck finding a Civic in a junkyard that's the same color as your car, not raped condition, and working electronics.
Man up. Power windows and locks are for girls.

Inside the door panels should be made the same as one with power windows/locks. So you would have to switch out the stuff.

Try looking for online catalogs. I know LMC Truck has power window kits for my truck although I dont need them.
You can also get a remote starter/remote locks kit installed easily, but you need power windows to begin with.

All you need for power locks are door lock actuators. We sell them at Best Buy for about $25 a piece. When these get installed however, there wont be a switch on your door sill but it will allow you to be able to have a keyless entry system installed.
The general rule of thumb on vehicles is that the plugs for power locks/windows/etc. are always there even if the switches aren't. If you take off the kick pannel in the car you would find that all of the plugs and wires are there, but becuase nothing of the sort was paid for then nothing is hooked up to it. Find the switches and other parts and you should be able to hook everything up fairly easily. Same goes for Cruise Control.

Cool, thanks folks. I'll check into some new doors/kits....For the cruise, if the hookups are there, couldn't I just replace the column with one that has a cruse button on it(or however it is in civics) and hook it up?

The civics cruise is probably on the steering wheel, as for power windows only go with oem replacements, because otherwise you risk getting some that have plastic gears and will be ruined after a couple of years.

like my car having a "sunroof" circuit, and not having a sunroof, lol, but the same circuit is used for the PDLs as well
