I am noticing small amounts of gas coming out of the receiver where my tombstone adaptor fits to the marker, I was thinking about using pipe tape to flush things up, has anyone eles had this?

Perhaps the amount of gas I losing is negligible anyway, and I shouldnt bother?

At first I couldnt think of anything better to do, and now I cant think of anything eles..

Did you check to make sure your o-ring in the valve is good, if the o-ring is good it just may not be seated right. I found that after use the washer in the valve starts to get wore so just flip it and that usually helps with the o-ring sealing correctly.

I have the same problem.  A leak is evidently coming from the vicinity of the Tombstone Adaptor.  Replaced the O-rings; placed washer first, then the o-ring and understand the tombstone holds them in place.  This is a new A-5 with cyclone feed system and response trigger.

A5 or X7? Alot of the early production run of the guns had small issues with the tombstone and valve.

Id say call Tippmann, you will be able to send in the parts from your gun, and have them replaced for free with the revised parts.
