I curently have a M98 fully stock, no upgrades.  Love the Marker as I have never had problems.  I want to upgrade and would like to know what everyone thought.

I play Woodsball 95% of the time and mostly like to be in the sniper role.  I would like to get either the Tippmann Stealth or the Tippmann X7 with the flatline and a few other upgrades which would include maybe a remote.  Can anyone offer advice?

You could always stick with your 98, it's really a great marker. Now in paintball, snipers, well they just don't exist. In paintball you cannot have a range and accuracy advantage. The flatline or the apex barrels will however, in most cases sacrafice a large amount of accuracy. Aftermarket barrels will increase accuracy but will not give a range advantage. So in paintball it's one or the other, range, or accuracy. Two of the most recommended barrels are the J&J Ceramic Barrel and the Lapco Bigshot. Both provide great accuracy for a good price. If you want even better accuracy you could go with a barrel kit, but the J&J in my experience is very very good. A red or green dot sight would help with first shot accuracy and a stock would help you keep the marker steady while your firing. A remote would also help make your gun lighter by getting the tank off your marker.
