the battery in my gun is heating up. what does it mean and what do i do to
fix it?

generally if the battery gets hot, it means that there is a short circuit somewhere.

Since we have no info as to what gun it is, my suggestion ends there.

yeah, either the wires are crossed somewhere, or the ebolt board has 2 solder points touching metal, or a bridged circuit, go over everything very carefully.

i found it. the wires were being pinched by the safety. i installed smaller
wires and the problem is now solved.
